Payton Graves signed her letter of intent to play volleyball at Missouri Southern today. Attending the signing ceremonies were her family, teammates, and friends, as well as the Glendale Lady Falcons who took a break from their practice to congratulate her. Congratulations, Payton!

Club Tryout Information
New Heart of America Rule for Club Players regarding eligibility...
Attending Tryouts and Open Gyms
If you want to attend a tryout or an open gym, you will need to be a registered and paid member of HOA. Go under "Hot Topics", "Indiv Registration" on the HOA website and follow the steps to complete your registration. Once you have paid your membership fee (either online with a credit card or by mailing a check to the HOA office), you will be able to print your membership card. Without the membership card you cannot participate in tryouts or open gyms!
If you do not make it on a team/club, you can request a refund of your membership fee. You can submit you request before December 31, 2011 by email to: registrar@hoavb.org. (Updated 10/6/11)

Homecoming 2011
Payton Graves and Elise Munroe were two of three Seniors voted as finalists for Glendale's 2011 Homecoming Queen. The Freshman Class voted Kennedy Graves and Kaitlyn Stratton as Freshman Attendants, and the Sophomore Class voted Rachel Lee as a Sophomore Attendant on the Homecoming Court. In the Homecoming Assembly held on Thursday, October 20th, Payton Graves was crowned Homecoming Queen for 2011. Congratulations girls!

Glendale vs Hillcrest
The regular season came to a close tonight with a win by all three teams over the visiting Hillcrest Hornets. The Varsity won 25-14, and 25-7 and was led by Payton Graves with 5 kills and 8 kill blocks and Rachel Lee with 8 digs. The JV won their match with a score of 25-12, and 25-10 and was led by Jacey Collins with 10 kills and 8 digs, Jordan Mayshark with 12 digs, Morgan Feldt with 11 digs, Kaitlyn Stratton with 9 digs, and Tenslee McGinnis with 16 assists. The Freshman won their match 25-21, and 25-9.
